Waste of time and money. Col 476 is good stuff, so is AG wax. I have Dodo juice which is nice but not a long lived at the Colly or Autoglym

The only reason I can think of to keeping the lengths the same, is if you want to sell them on at some point, it's easier to sell a matched pair.

The best reason for speaker cables of the same length is that they are easy to sell in the future. That of course is on the assumption you are the sort of person that buys and sells these type of things.
