All very odd. Though it does say it will be available soon. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0018sfr
Why isn’t Macca’s set on iplayer? Some kind of broadcasting copyright issue?
Absolutely bang on with McCartney's performance. I'm not an out-and-out fan of his, but credit where it's due.......it was astonishing.
And to think he's almost as old as the average age of the membership of this board! Sure puts it into perspective.
I think he reacquired the rights after Michael Jackson died. Probably finds the extra few bob comes in handy with the cost of living these days.Does he still own his songs? No idea, but I’m curious why his set is clearly being treated differently to others.
Sadly a bullet may have had a part to play in that.Paul McCartney is a great advert for vegetarianism, look at him, 80! John Lennon never embraced it and he didn’t live half as long. Makes you think, doesn't it?
Totally different musical form. Jazz evolves, it grows, it is a lifelong journey, never a static recreation of the past.
I was wondering the same. My recorder cut the last few songs, annoyingly. Why isn’t Macca’s set on iplayer? Some kind of broadcasting copyright issue?
Herbie is great! 82 years old and still amazing on the piano/synth. Excellent band too, especially the drummer! Hopefully he’ll introduce them all as chances are I’ve heard of most of them even if I’m failing to recognise anyone!
and joyful.Brilliant
