Initial impressions are great, sounds more focused than the AT33PTG/II (soundstage is far better defined), maybe a little faster in the bass at the expense of a little depth.

Absolutely loving the old school cool Yamaha and Rotel, my dad had a Yamaha tuner similar to that range and when i was about 12 my dad upgraded and I ended up with his Rotel RX202 similar to the one in the pics.

Thanks. Those were MG12, upgraded to 1.7 at the end of 2017. The 5th pair of Maggies I've had over the last 35 years. Started with SMGa back in the day. Love them.
