Marine iguanas

If there was one stand-out location in the Galapagos, it was here at Punta Espinosa on Fernandina Island.

The Galapagos is utterly magical. From a photography POV, all the animals are so close that the 85mm lens (which is a gem) was all I needed.

My only regret is not taking a decent underwater camera. It's underwater where the action really happens. We had some real Attenborough moments involving interactions between cormorants, penguins, sea lions, sharks and huge walls of beautiful fish. Just stunning.
 
A few more pics from Ecuador and the Galapagos, starting with our lodgings at Napo Wildlife Centre in the Yasuni National Park (Amazon). It's set on a beautiful lake with Giant otters, caimans and anacondas.
