vuk,

what's with the 3 blokes? I think you are taking you campaign against green a little too far.

mr. cat.

thanks, but i'm a bit confused. the first picture is a nature shot--is that the one you meant? you're the guy living in the thinck of it; i'm in the middle of a big, ugly city ;-)

vuk.

yeah - I meant getting those kind of reflections shots...we have rivers, reservoirs etc - but the conditions just aren't right - well, when I go there they aren't... :(

yeah, reminds me of when I used to work in Fenwicks (newcastle) - sometimes we'd sit outside on the old eldon square green for lunch...never a good idea as it was so hard to motivate yourself for the afternoons graft... :D

Spooky. I worked one summer between university terms in Fenwicks in the Soft Furnishings department - 1979

Try Jesmond Dene or Armstrong Park or Exhibition Park or Leazes Park - or any park with water in it.

even here, the conditions are mostly wrong. the wind needs to be of a certain strength a, but not too strong and even then, there its seems best if it goes against the current to some degree.

anyhow, the green leaves are starting to come out more fully, so it's just about game over for nature pics until the fall.

It's been a lovely week, I'm signed off work so what do I do: Shut myself in the dark, breathing fumes for the best part of two afternoons/evenings.(Perhaps it was the lack of ventilation that had me getting my weeks mixed up.)

I'm currently surfing from the adjacent motel's wifi. Here are two images from a few hours ago at an Interstate 80 rest area nr. the Bonneville salt flats.

Oh we do.
I do my toning and print washing outside and the prints were only up for a while as they came out of the wash before being transferred inside.
