You wouldn’t want that little imp on the shelf jumping down to have a look at all those tubes.
What did you replace the speakers with, just out of interest? Reason I ask is because I had a similar set up myself! A NAF in to Audio Notes...
although he has turned his back on it?I think he’s probably too busy guarding the book of bums.
To be fair that's pretty subtle branding compared to the giant CNC'd logos on the faceplate and stylized into vents in the top covers. And at least there's not a bunch of ugly (IMO) cursive BS all over it like so many Marantz, Denon, Pioneer and others have.I tend to hide electronics but if an amplifier was on display I would prefer the simplicity of something like this:
although the writing after the logo would be better gone. I would also prefer the logo to be on a plate on the back along with model number, serial number, contract details, etc... but I think that is perhaps asking a bit too much given the branding madness of today.
I am genuinely sad I could only like this post once. Nicely observed.I think he’s probably too busy guarding the book of bums.
You are right.... but I think its ugly.I can't decide whether I like it or not but I can see new Leak stuff fitting right into quite a lot of interiors.
That's a proper power amp. A man's power amp. Not these little girly class D things.Surely some mistake? How is this even remotely beautiful?!
I’ve always liked the look of Mark Levinson kit:
Reminded me of a PS2 when I first saw oneI like the looks of this one, but would have to get rid of the massive logo.
