Not all keepers, but I do like 'em! Still have the last six but will certainly move on four of these.

first there was a Luxor. The amp and recordplayer built in the same unit.

Then a Micro solid. don´t remember the models name. It was a rather fine deck. pu ortofon, pickering, stanton.

After that a Planar 3 with K9 and later a DV 10X5.

Then vinyl hibernation.

Now a Nottingham Dais with Mörch Dp 8 and a Lyra Delos.

I will try my best to remember them all and might have to add over several days. Here we go the list wont be in order of ownership these turntables are decks i have purchased for my own use over 32 years

Over 32 years: Dual CS505, rega Planar 3, LP12, Xerxes. Last was best, now departed. If I had the space to place a TT correctly then I'd have something back like a shot - it's not an anti-vinyl thing, I like all formats and above that a nice TT looks lovely.

Thorens TD146
Technics SL 1210 MkII

Still have the last 4, but soon to replace a couple of them with a NA Spacedeck :)

Yes, come on Mik.....where's the big ones in that modest little list ? If there is anyone, anywhere, who has owned more decks, I'd like to see it.
Especially the Sirius. Which appears to have slipped your mind. Well, easily mislaid in a corner somewhere. I think a photo of the missing decks would be a bit of a treat.

Hmm, very short list for me.

ADC 1700 (around 1980)
Thorens TD166 Mk2 (around 1984)

The 166 became redundant in around 1987, and was sold in 2006.

Fast forward to 2013...

Michell Gyro (for about 6 months)
Roksan Xerxes (late 2013, sold early 2014 and bought back a month ago!)
CTC 301 (April this year)
Rega Planar 3 (to be collected in a couple of weeks).

So far, that seems to work out at roughly three decks per year.....so far ! Do you ever get a chance to listen to music considering the set up and/or settling time usually required?

Why so many, and so many repeats? Does this proliferation of decks also extend to tonearms and cartridges? I'm fascinated.

Mike, didn't Mik say he was or still is a dealer or such ? Hence all the TT's.

EAGLE D2005 (1984)
Sansui SR222 mk V (1985)
Roksan Xerxes (1986)
Linn LP12 (1987)
Linn LP12 (1993)
Linn LP12 (2004)

you could argue that since changing the base/psu/chassis/motor/topplate in the last four years little of that 2004 turntable actually remains.
