Worst musical genres ever.

Plunderphonics - Plundering others er..phonics
Donk - Can’t recall but sounds stupid
Hardbag & Handbag (house) - music for girls to dance around their handbags, Hardbag was “harder”
J-pop - Japanese pop
Trance - Just awful
Military music - Better than Trance
Gabber - A mess
Hi nrg - Gold/glittery Disco
Power Electronics - Really noisy Industrial
New Jack Swing - Barbershop
Pornogrind (as practiced by Cock & Bull Story)

ooh, I love Hi-NRG.

But dislike -

Drill,
C&W,
World,
Folk,
Europop

and whatever that american sound which 'Footloose' - Kenny Loggins is called...

I’m with Tony, I’ll find redeeming features in most genres.
Except James Last , which has to be its own genre so it cannot taint any other one.
By the same cold logic we have to dispense with Val Doonican, Demis Russos , Nana Mouskouri and no doubt quite a few others.

Careful. Demis was in a band called Aphrodite's Child with Vangelis. Their 666 is a very decent effort at prog. It was on Vertigo and therefore, it must be good.

What the ****ing ***? Trance is sublime..... if you don't get it, you weren't there!

I was there just can’t recall too much. Saying that, I never knowingly attended any Trance events and by the time it exploded I’d stopped going out really. Had my first child in 93’ and never went partying afterwards.

No worries I'm only having a laugh with you... we all like different things. 1996 - 2004 were the halcyon days of trance... good times!

Marching band 'music' , especially blood and thunder flute bands, apart from that one time in the early 90's when the members of RFB all dropped E and played Madness tunes. They disbanded afterwards once the rednecks realised what had happened.
Lambeg drum 'noise'.
Most of you will have been fortunate enough never to have heard any of the above.
I don't particularly like Jazz, funk, disco, rap, boybands or manufactured auto tuned pop, most other broad genres I can find artists or bands that I do like though.
Quite often we'll watch old Totp or Whistle test, etc on BBC4, we're both often amazed about how much stuff we don't remember and how much crap there has been.

Hadn’t seen this one.
Definitely rap - hip-hop sounds the same to me - and metal.
I don’t like chanson française very much either.
