Tempted to stock up on the 8, but also fancy adding a new one to the cabinet, will ponder the Caols
That’s very helpful, thanks
It's a blend, so not as sought after; but there will always be someone willing to pay for it.
A guideline to some prices here:

HiThat’s very helpful, thanks
It's a tough job but someone's got to do it.I help the two whisky bros do the tastings for the smws outturns each month. Its always fun to go back to the blog and see what was said!!
Oh how I tried not to...I'll compare it to the 57% 2022 release...at some point.8yo blended malt from Campbeltown at 54.9% for under £40..be rude not to

I'm opening something a bit later though not as exotic as those, Weekender. It’s a choice of different blends, I have bought about 4-5 recently so it’s time to start getting through them. And I'm struggling to leave that Campbeltown blend on MoM alone haha
Ah no, I see they’ve restocked. I would bite, but I’m just back from visiting relatives in Dundee and en route visited Deanston where I picked up their 12 YO, and Tullibardine, where I picked up their Burgundy cask finish. That’s my pocket money all spent for this month.Sold out in a flash, did it not?
There's been two slightly different bottlings:Ah no, I see they’ve restocked.
I went with the latest Campbeltown Loch, not disappointed. It’s quite quaffable. It was between it, the Thompson Bros blend and a whiskybroker 10 malt blend. I will have to get another bottle if this stands up to some air. It’s dangerously akin to the Springbank 15, though not quite as complex.
I suppose its horses for courses, Ive struggled with the Springbank 10yo, the 12 yo cs and one of Local Barleys, and even trying the recent 25yo, everyone’s palate is different, which is a good thing. Slainte!I was a bit disappointed with CL. It was, at one time, a rather splendid blend, as opposed to its current incarnation of blended malt. There is very probably significant batch variation tho,’ so if it floats yer boat, fill yer boots.
Bottles opened recently:
Ardnamurchan AD - Yes.
Ardnamurchan Madeira CS - YES!
Bunna 12 CS 2022 - OH YES!!
I'll speculate they were a bit taken aback by the (not exclusively) lukewarm reception to the 2021 release and put some top sherry casks into the 22.What does the Cask Strength add to Bunn 12?
Although it's not quite that good.An orgasm by the sound of it
