William Doyle - Springs Eternal, Tidal stream.
I can never quite work out why I like William Doyle's albums. HIs voice can be a bit annoying, they're all archly pretentious, and the production is generally a bit shonky, but none of that matters as there's something about his reedy voice, great songwriting, lovely arrangements and smart lyrics that keep me going back for more. Your Wilderness Revisited was wonderful, Great Spans of Muddy Time less so, but this latest one is again excellent.
