We’re All Going on a Summer Holiday

Mrs BB and I are going to Fuerteventura for 10 days mid Spetember. Booked on a whim, our first holiday (done a couple of long weekends) without offspring in tow. Our first package holiday too. Don't plan on doing much whilst we're there, going to recharge the batteries.

At least (and at last!) our 2 year delayed trip to Portugal is on. Week after next, Villa paid for, car hire booked (prices for that have been falling for the past month, hurray!) and hotel and car parking booked at airport (Bristol). Just hoping the queues to get through security at 5am will be not too bad - seems early morning is a peak time at Bristol.

pondering a return to Portugal for next year.....but would like to avoid flying (unless using a private jet - looks about £8k one way for 2)
