rodrat I read somewhere (can't find it) there is an element of Mexican standoff.
The awful woman could've pressed charges against the poor man who's obviously the real victim here.
But his mates would've then pressed trespass type charges against the (probably armed but the coppers didn't find the gun) woman.

The charges could be civil, but possibly the threatened charge is aggravated trespass.

She cannot press charges. She can report it and then be interviewed by the police who then decide if there is sufficient evidence to send the case to CPS who then decide. It didn’t even got to CPS stage.
