If it’s broke fix it!
You just can’t say that (says the old fart). The Beatles. I turn the radio off as soon as I hear a note. I never heard them growing up and just find it all so similar.

Funny how so many of the most 'boring bands' are also some of the biggest sellers
Agree. I just could never fathom what all the fuss was about. When I read the title, U2 come immediately to mind. I’ve never ‘got’ anything they’ve done. Looks as if I’m not alone!
I often like bands & then find them incredibly boring, cannot understand what I ever saw in them. My nomination is Elbow, even the name is boring & the sensitive northern male schtick has really started to grate.
Obviously there are others, Coldplay being another? The kind of bands that have a breakthrough moment at Glastonbury & then never go away.
Oh, another miserable, negative thread.

Brian Auger
Is that my coat?
Status quo, I'd rather go deaf than listen to them.
I’ve actually bought quite a few Elbow records, some of their earlier stuff on vinyl but I just find them so dull now.Totally agree with you over Coldplay, but I really like the latest release from Elbow.
Personally, I find most of today's conveyer belt of plastic pop all boring.

I’ll probably get slaughtered for this but I find post ‘The Bends’ Radiohead boring too.

Oh, I will have to give it a listen then............
Technically not a band although he was in Soft Machine, I concur with the general sentiment. Has an odd voice also.Robert Wyatt.
I can tolerate a bit, but dull as dishwater.
