Robert Plant's Big Log is quite dramatic. I suspect they've brought the crossover frequency down, so the midrange dome is a bit more tamed, thanks to the better power handling of the new HF unit

Thanks. Artistic licence, for the photo. The window is south facing, so if the guitar stays there, it wouldn't last long in the summer :)

Perhaps we should start a new thread on the acoustics of having a guitar present in the listening space?

Should be a short thread - don’t do it, it’s really annoying pretty quickly to hear it joining in!
 
To make up for the fact that I've just trashed two cartridges in a week (both now off to ESCo for some tlc), I'm drowning my sorrows and limiting myself to my other formats, especially my new Cambridge Audio CXN V2 streamer:

Yes it’s a Tact Millennium mk2 and is part of my main (digital) system fed by an Auralic Aries with Penaudio Cenya speakers.
