I always believed in "actions speak louder than words."
But here, he doesn't even get the words right.
The Republicans are preparing contingency plans for Trump to accept their nomination from jail if his sentencing goes that way.
 
The same escaped inmate later went on to demonstrate a moment of unusual clarity

Trump is famously very scared of sharks - it was even part of the original Stormy Daniels story that he spent part of their evening together ranting about how all sharks should be exterminated (or something like that). The cause of his fear - apparently binge-watching "Shark Week" on Discovery Channel some weeks earlier :rolleyes:.

Why wouldn't you want this guy in any position of authority....?
 
Watching the X video it's said tongue in cheek, media baiting. But we all know Drump only cares about Drump

Although famously in recent years Special Elections and other one-offs have shown effects that don't actually translate to general elections. Polling and focus groups since his conviction has shown a very small effect.

To be optimistic it might help if these effects reproduce in the battleground states but equally there are similar level effects for Biden from other sources (black and brown voters, Gaza effects especially in Michigan, cost of living / inflation effects, etc.)

And all the polling, focus groups and analysis have shown this consistently for some time. Basically it will come down to 50,000 votes either way in each of 4 or 5 states. Complacency and assumptions about how Biden will obviously win is a big danger here.
