And yet folk used to love their faux walnut finish Pioneer PL-12D, Kenwood/Trio KD-1033, and various Duals of old.
Not a fan of the walnut Rega 1, nor the shiny piano finish of the P8, P10. I always thought the original P9 looked smart.
"shiny piano finish of the P8, P10" ? ...Do you mean to say the almost 10 year old now RP8 & RP10?
The newly released P8's & P10's are a very tasteful satin like black, not a piano finish "gloss"..
I'm a real fan of Rega's green text/logo on a black plinth, it really works well. Better IMO than the white text/logo on my Planar 3.Not a fan of the walnut Rega 1, nor the shiny piano finish of the RP8, RPI I always thought the original P9 looked smart.
This late 80’s Planar 2 with a touch of green and flatter black finish was a nice look.
Beautiful decks, those.I still think the P9/P25 with the wooden surrounds were the best lookers.

If so, then I suspect we should be calling it a service/upgrade, what with that Klyde on.
