Monitor Audio speakers - history websites?

Can anyone tell me anything about the Monitor Audio Ruby range? I have a client that has a pair of R3, and he really would like to know more about them.

I understand the range was rebranded pretty sharpish, and there was a dispute with JPW who also had a Ruby range.

Picture of the MA20..Hoping someone might recognise the mids... looks like the box was recessed to take a different mid but the only screw holes are for the one with bad foam.. as theres no info about these units online im starting to thinkk they may have been a prototype or a bodged together pair with whatever parts were available in the warehouse at the time,,, anyway I hope someone will pitch in with info, Thanks in advance
