Hi,

I am a long term friend of audio designer Colin Wonfor. I set up ABCaudio in order to help Colin get his designs to clients. And to ensure he actually gets paid for his work!

I am running this as a business, but it is part time (I run another small business which keeps me busy several days each week) - I take a cut and Colin gets the rest. I've been a long term fan of Col's designs and have used them for years. I am also a long term member of pfm.

Colin has taught me to terminate these cables correctly - they are not easy or conventional to work on by any means, plus the raw cable costs are simply ridiculous! However, they really do sound great and I firmly believe they are worth the outlay. The manufacturing costs of EWA cable is many times more than that of any previous cables Colin designed, but they are many times more effective at reaching his design goals. By keeping control of his work and selling direct, Colin is able to sell EWA cables at a much lower cost than one would expect (when compared to the usual mark up in this industry).

This will therefore remain a cottage industry for some considerable time...
