Who remembers when an opposition leader might think to speak out on a day when there's intense and widespread public anger at a shameless Government?

He's nowhere to be seen.

Be fair, he hasn’t had time to be told what he can say yet.

I suspect that at Glastonbury and footie matches, etc,

The reason there was so many people there when he hit the stage was in part down to some engineering by the Corbyn supporters and Glasto organisers. Not everyone was chanting ;)

So far only Annaliese Dodds from the Labour Party has said anything about Hancock. Where is Starmer?

Does the Labour Party have a position on corruption and hypocrisy in high places or is Dodds about to go the way of RLB?

Perhaps Starmer is going to appear on one of the Sunday morning tv political programmes to denounce Hancock in order to maximise the pressure on the Health Secretary.

Maybe he doesn’t want to come across as too eager, which Corbyn often did, plus of course Starmer is clever enough to realise that it is only a matter of time before one of his own undertakes a similar transgression.

Too late. The scandal has been and gone. Hancock has resigned. Sir Keir said nothing.

Don't overthink things. Occam's razor... When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth... You know, that sort of thing.

In other words, the logical conclusion is that Sir Keir is an indecisive wally.

Now Labour comes out to say something. And so far, all saying the same thing, that Johnson should’ve sacked him.

Better late than never perhaps?

Always liked Ed.

If only he'd told the advisors and spin doctors to piss off and been himself, bold and thinking big.

Indeed, they are clearly ready for government with hands free ready to put into our pockets, not their own.

Exactly as it should be! A Labour leader who channels Robin Hood gets my vote every time. They can start by forcibly repossessing second homes, holiday lets, BTL properties, and making them available to local people in rural areas, to first time buyers and as social housing etc. THAT is the sort of radical policy that Labour needs to enact!

It should gain enough votes from decent people to more than make up for those lost from capitalist parasites.
