Accuphase all the way down
What is it you’re so afraid of, Mr Hyde?
Spot on! Corbyn needs to stop dancing to their tune and just come out and tell people what's going on; which is that the Israel lobby, Israel-friendly donors to the Labour Party, Israeli shills within it and a willing media are trying to stop him becoming PM due to his support for the Palestinian people, so long brutalised by the apartheid state of Israel. It's kinda like Labour are being asked from all sides "when did you stop beating your wife" and instead of doing the right thing by just telling the accusers "we know your game now **** off" they are pathetically engaging themselves in self destructive defence of a "crime" that never happened.... Which is of course exactly what Labours enemies are trying to achieve!
What confuses and annoys me is that they seem completely unwilling to just destroy and diffuse the argument of their accusers by saying "yes we are anti Israel and pro Palestinian and proudly so. It's not a secret and never has been and if you are a supporter of an Israeli Trumpto(w)n then Labour is not the party for you"
Your posts give the appearance of being written by someone with the cognitive abilities of packet of pork scratchings. They’re also very funny, so I’d encourage you to offer more of your wisdom.Blimey it's like a Momentum branch meeting ....... calm down comrades and keep the red flag flying here !
I appeal to all commies and Marxists within Momentum to please keep up the good work and make Labour truly unelectable

I think we're being a little hard on Dairylea.Your posts give the appearance of being written by someone with the cognitive abilities of packet of pork scratchings. They’re also very funny, so I’d encourage you to offer more of your wisdom.
Can we thank him and mock him?I think we're being a little hard on Dairylea.
He's clearly a man who is deeply troubled by social injustice and racism in all its manifestations, whether it be directed toward Jews, Muslims, Hindus or Sikhs. I understand he once risked life and limb to physically confront a couple of Momentum thugs who were looking at him funny.
And, like the proverbial canary in the mine, he finds time in his busy schedule to sound the alarm when bigotry and intolerance is on the rise in the UK.
We should thank him from the bottom of our hearts, not mock him.
Sean, do you have any particular (recent) examples of this in mind? Just curious. There is still a problem with antisemitism in the Labour Party, it still isn't systemic, it's still being instrumentalised by the right, Labour are still making bad moves that allow it to be instrumentalised. The IHRA thing was actually an attempt to make progress (there is a genuine need to provide a framework for different voices here) but accusations of bad faith on all sides, some of them deserved, have made it another media spectacle and factional ****-show. It's tragic because especially given the rise of the far right there is a real need to straighten this out and it could actually be something that progressive voices from different traditions unite around.
This Willsman business: even viewed sympathetically, what is someone on the NEC doing ranting like that? Or to put it differently, what is a ranter doing on the NEC? And why wasn't he called out there and then?Sean, do you have any particular (recent) examples of this in mind? Just curious.
I too believe this is an important issue, especially given the rise of the far-right.
And it's an issue that's poorly served by the BBC's default "he said, she said" mode of reporting.

And then the IHRA: I think Labour are right to adopt the definition but not the examples, for lots of reasons, but it's my understanding - might be wrong on this - that they didn't consult with Jewish groups. That seems wrong to me.
it is perhaps an important topic, but not an impottant issue given that it has been largely fabricated out of almost nothing.
Are you trying to take the thread off at a tangent?I just checked the Interweb and I see that Momentum is at it again, this time arguing that Angular Momentum is what makes the world go around!
Everyone knows it's money that makes the world go round, but the loony left would have you believe it has something to do with the conversation of angular momentum. Don't take my word for it. Click the link!
