Is this the most beautiful amp......

It seems to be heavily 'inspired' by Nagra gear like the Nagra IV.

But whereas classic professional Nagra design is driven primarily by functionality and the need for an operator to easily access the controls of a small handheld device, this seems to have set out to just put as many bits and bobs on the front panel as possible as some kind of design statement.

That said I think if you replaced the volume control with the weird visible gearing mechanism with a standard knob it would be fussy but passable.

Why? Am I not permitted to disagree, or provide evidence that I'm not alone, or that this topic has been done before? The thread has a life of its own, and people will offer different views. If you don't like that, don't start a thread. I wouldn't put anybody on ignore just because I disagree with them, would you?

Don’t mind the looks and the control layout looks intuitive but what really matters is how does it sound.

The foot at the front middle was their biggest mistake....trying to evoke the Linn big knob thing ...which is also ugly to my eyes.

No this is

If it's not it is certainly in the top ten. I've got to ask, what make is it?
