So did you! Edward VII’s son became George V, who was in turn the father of Edward VIII and George VI.

I knew Bertie aka George 6th was later than Edward 7th.

Must have been from watching that film, I think the bold George didn’t like people calling him Bertie or the plebs at least.

God they were some mob, apparently the other brother Prince George, Duke of Kent was ‘scandal ridden’ and a Nazi sympathiser too apparently.

It really is a small world the duchess of argyle whom the duke of Kent was apparently shagging along with others, including Noel coward, was born just up the road from me.

Her wiki entry is quite a read, not least for falling 40ft down a lift shaft and surviving.
 
Ah, the mystery of the headless man, or men.

She certainly had a voracious appetite. I didn't realise she'd had a bunk up with David Niven. She was 15, he 18, the cad.
 
This ‘serving’ is such a ridiculous technicality, unless I misunderstand it all anyone has to do is keep out of the way of the servers, pretty easy for someone with Andy’s protection force.

It does seem bizarre that you can attempt to evade legal "service" by hiding in plain sight.Its not that he's unaware of the case.
Hopefully with Uk court now involved the farce will end.

I was taught in school that it had to be served by an official, I think a court bailiff or police officer, with a witness, and they had to give a scripted speech including the words "I serve you" and ensure that it touched your hand.

I would imagine that with UK authorities involved they will send the relevant official with a police officer and the papers and say "I require to see"
