The Athletic so behind a paywall.Days lost to injury: does each day mean one player out for one day? So ten players out for one day is the same as one player out for ten days? How are days calculated? If a player misses two matches, is that two days or eight days, if each match is on a Saturday?
Where are these figures from? A link would be appreciated.
And on a related note, are the large numbers due to poor training, too many matches, or what? Players trying too hard to compete, coming back too soon?
