Newcastle-Blackburn was a cracker. BBurn really should have won with the chances they had. I want Leicester at home in the quarters, beaten them 3-1 already. That would seem to offer the best chance of progress anyway, but I always say if you're going to win the cup then you might as well win at Old Trafford along the way

Credit to Blackburn. And Duvbravka. Both teams had chances and it could have gone either way.
Lascelles dropped a clanger but winning both tosses for pens was a godsend.
A good cardio workout in the shootout which I was convinced we'd lose. Mind we won't be winning the Cup on current form.
The midfield is shot without Big Joe, can only hope Little Joe's match fitness returns and the likes of Anderson too. Longstaff just not up to it as he's had no rest and Bruno needs legs to support. Isak still looking shadow of himself after the groin issue which is a worry.

You would have thought that nearly 60 years would make it easier to see Mick Jones playing for the dirties. John Harris said that selling him was the greatest mistake we would ever make and, given what we've suffered since, it only gets worse.
