A truss is a structure, wood or steel, that consists of members organised into connected triangles so that the overall assembly behaves as a single object. Trusses are most commonly used in bridges, roofs and towers.

Liz Truss has the same intellectual capacity.

She’s in way over her head just being an MP. When she speaks I see fear in her eyes that this might be the day for another “cheese speech” moment. She lives her political life terrified that she will be found out.

What a coincidence.

Slightly snipped Wikipedia entry:

The Italian term fascismo is derived from fascio, meaning 'bundle of sticks', ultimately from the Latin word fasces. The Fascists came to associate the term with the ancient Roman fasces or fascio littorio, a bundle of rods tied around an axe.

The symbolism of the fasces suggested strength through unity: a single rod is easily broken, while the bundle is difficult to break. Similar symbols were developed by different fascist movements: for example, the Falange symbol is five arrows joined together by a yoke.

Doesn’t mention cheese being a disgrace though, so maybe not a real match.

I’ve only just got in, but turn on Sky News now! Johnson is up before a select committee and he is absolutely bloody clueless. A total fraud and blaggard.

They’re getting ready to move him on, even the usual Tory supporting members of the right wing press are sticking the knife in. The other question is, is he getting ready to move on from Carrie as the article suggests?
