    Right Channel Keeps Cutting Out

Hi, I'm struggling to resolve an issue with my right channel cutting out for all sources. Lets start with the system. NAC82 - TeddyCap Plus - NAP250(Avondaled) - Kaber2 I originally thought is was an issue with the NAP & had it checked but now i'm pretty sure it is a cabling issue. I've...

    Naim Burndy

All, I'm looking to buy an XPS for my CDX & am getting very confused over Burndy cables. Is there more than 1 type (e.g differing ones for Pre-amps & CDs) & if so how can I tell which 1 will connect a CDX to an XPS?

Just to let those of you who don't know. Just like alcoholism you can never be cured. I was dry for 15 years before my relapse

    Rega Planar 2

Mine also came with a felt mat (and was an early one) - I purchased a Planar 2 before upgrading to a Linn Axis & then an LP12. I fondly remember the Planar as a great bit of kit

    Naim Nap 160 & Nac12 or Naim Nait 5i mk2

Listen to the Nait is the right call - my guess is you'll keep the money in your wallet.

Mike-B - I also thought we were talking about real hifi dealers

Price of Naim NAP52/NAP135/Supercap Late Olive

Ignoring cost, a service of a device that needs one makes a huge difference to the sound quality.

Naim 250 or Teddy Pardo MB100

Without wanting to state the obvious, it all depends on taste. You need to listen to both (with your speakers & CD) & decide what is correct for you.

Westwood & Mason in Oxford - Still around?

Yep - long gone. I think only audio-T & Oxford Audio are left now. Unless someone can correct me.

    Cheap(ish) amp with a remote control ?

Depending on your budget you could go down the pre / power route. This helps with future upgrades. I started with a Naim NAC 92R / NAP 90 & gradually progressed from there.
