You could be right mate. I’m going to seek out a couple of alternatives in the new year - the I-A4 being one of them albeit the price now being north of £6,000 it would have to be night and day difference.

Thanks, but just about everything in that photo (apart from the turntable) is now sold and has been replaced with something else. I should get around to posting the current system in the 2023 thread. In particular, the Heritage Specials looked great, but I really hated them. They have been replaced with Neat Iota Xplorers, which are half the price, look far less impressive, but sound vastly more musical and engaging.
