They will never please everybody. I can understand why the have done it. I also think we forget quickly that Harry did serve in the military and in a combat zone at lease twice. But hey, what do I know...

Just watching the BBC news trying to squeeze out the last drops of this story. The charged delivery brings them closer to tabloid reporting. Really poor reporting. Shocking really. They should lose funding IMO.

No, you’re wrong, they’re really generally popular.
I think the appeal is that the alternative is an elected head of state, which means a politician, which means a venal, possibly corrupt, etc, etc, ladder climber.
The only other possibility is that we clone David Attenborough, and just keep downloading his personality into successive skinbags.

Don’t know if you’d call them fans exactly, but lots of people I’ve worked with and socialise with prefer them to the politicised alternative. We’re talking well educated professionals on SWMBOs side, and proper working class, but smart, people on my side. They’re not big fans of the born into privilege thing, but have massive reservations about a political appointee.
As for fans, a lot of younger people really like William and Harry, they are seriously popular.
