If Chelsea draw against Liverpool tomorrow, we'll be above the hated Spurs. That will do fine, although it would obviously be better to win.

Tottenham's goal was pretty pathetic. Kane stumbled in the box trying to get a dodgy penalty, his leg splayed out and he accidentally kicked the ball in.

Leicester countered with two class goals.

Glen Hoddle and whoever were fawning over Kane's brilliance and the studio pundit said he deliberately hit the ball against the ground so it would gain height over Schmeichel , regular magician is our 'arry .

Watched the game on sky. Our results don't reflect our performances so far this season. We need to start taking our chances. Connolly was unlucky but it was a good clearance by Schar off the line.

I was surprised at how poor Newcastle were. They look like we did last season.

Chelsea might go above Man Utd and Spurs this afternoon. The Mancs lost 2 - 0 at West Ham. Some of the latter's supporters are violent thugs, but the team are kind of okay, given we got the great Frankie Lampard from them in 2001.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has signed a five-year contract with Chelsea. The 18-year-old is on the mend after a bad Achilles injury. He scored in the Under-23 game against Southampton yesterday. Frank Lampard was instrumental in persuading CHO to stay on at Chelsea. https://metro.co.uk/2019/09/21/watc...doi-sends-message-lampard-goal-u23s-10785496/

Tammy Abraham has got 7 goals so far is this season, that's two more than crock-foot Kane, and Mason Mount is already playing for England.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also in recovery. Chelsea might not be able to buy players, but they have got four high-quality youngsters from the team's Academy.

All Chelsea have to do is start winning at Stamford Bridge. Today could be the day.

More 'big team' entitlement rubbish from you Jack....You really are a scream:D.

It was a close game against Liverpool. It is a shame Mason Mount's foot was offside and we had a goal denied by VAR. Plus Alonso didn't mark well enough when Liverpool had a free-kick and scored.

The Chelsea goal by Kante was a cracker. He spookily went through a fair amount of Liverpool's defence before clipping the ball past the goalkeeper.

Mason Mount proved he is really talented, in both dribbling and passing. Tammy Abraham was unfortunately isolated for most of the game and tracked by Van Dijk. He came off not long after being kneed in the shoulder by Liverpool's goalkeeper. Batshuayi who replaced him remains a waste of space.

Tomori kept Salah quiet and Chelsea played well, considering they were up against the best team in Europe. Klopp says Chelsea remind him of the young team he put together at Borrusia Dortmund.

Frank Lampard and Chelsea will go above Spurs and Utd later in the season. The future is bright at Stamford Bridge.
