We do, and they have been much more co-operative in pursuing false advertising.
Have you got a link for decisions against foo cable merchants?

Not in the least. But I don't think people are children and that they'll be better off if someone who thinks he knows the truth tries to save them from themselves.
How about someone recommending a homeopathic preparation as a cure for cancer on a cancer patient forum?
Wow. Foo cables vs a homeopathic cure for cancer...
Is there a name for this?

Here is one from a couple of years ago;

To Rich, if I had the lengths you need you would be welcome to lend mine, I have some van damme blue here, plugged at 2m a side if that's any good, happy to post them out to you, just post back when you have time.
I may have a 3m set of QED silver anniversary if this is long enough, just add plugs if you need to, no rush in returning, sitting in a draw at present.
BTW, in my opinion, having listened to both, the qed will bring best results I feel.
I was asking Julf about the Dutch ones.
Will dig them up when I am back home.
Chord, a very well known company all over the world, here is a cable I imagine most would find goes against science in it's claims http://www.chord.co.uk/product/chord-indigo-tuned-aray-stereo-rca-interconnect/
Why has not one single person reported it for false advertising
Read the description, they don't try & weave their way round the truth, it's described as they see fit, yet no complaints, come on all you foomeisters, where are you.
Keith explains why.I can't see a single falsifiable statement there. It is all subjective stuff that can't be proved or disproved.
I am afraid their 'in depth overview' isn't.
Chord Indigo Tuned ARAY analogue interconnects all use the same unique conductor formation, developed for our flagship Sarum Tuned ARAY interconnects.
Each Indigo conductor is built using heavy gauge high quality silver-plated conductors. Insulation is PTFE and the conductors are shielded with two layers of very high-density silver-plated braid that is effective over an extremely wide frequency range. The shielding is covered with a white PTFE precision applied outer extrusion. Like Sarum, Indigo Tuned ARAY cable is produced to extremely tight tolerances.
The plugs
The Indigo Tuned ARAY RCA cable is fitted with Chords ultra low mass RCA plugs. The silver-plated centre pin is set into a PTFE insulation block. The low mass silver-plated shield/return connector is fitted and a PTFE layer applied before the precision machined, vibration damping acrylic plug casing is fitted. Our beautiful acrylic plug surrounds are individually machined for us by a British company that specialises in high precision acrylic parts for use in the medical industry.
Use it with
Indigo Tuned ARAY builds on the extremely transparent and coherent performance of the Signature Tuned ARAY, with the higher density shielding and heavier gauge conductors used in the Indigo improving detail and dynamic performance still further.
It is really important to understand just how profound the performance improvements that Tuned ARAY technology brings are, particularly in terms of involvement and coherence. The Indigo Tuned ARAY will help almost all levels of system produce music you can get truly involved with.
Keith explains why.
No claims of false advertising, why, i'm sure many who think cables are a nonsense & all are pretty much the same should be flooding asa with complaints, yet not one single dispute.

No that just shows that they make no definite claims for any measureable improvement .
