Its a cd 6004 great value for money player. especially when i picked it up cheap from audio t when they closed the local shop

Ok cheers. Just ordered a Croft Preamp and on the lookout for a reasonable CD player as most of my music is played out via a mdac, hence only the occasional CD is spun these days.

The decks a 775SM, its solid layers of MDF, but the engineering is fab. The heaviest platter I've ever seen (lined with lead) . The arm is fixed in an adjustable collet (15-28mm), off centre to alter pivot to spindle.
It make me wonder about the development of the TT if Linn were less dominant in the 80's?

I have very limited space in my attic but I wanted to get my LP12 mounted on a wall shelf and fit my NAT02 on my rack. So I had a play around and this was the best I could do without any major changes.
The top shelf is one of the Isoblue spiked on and old wall bracket. Sounds much better now and I don't have to worry too much about my bouncy floor boards.

Looks good, an LP12 on a shelf bolted onto a solid wall is the very best support for it.

System #2: Klipsch taking a holiday whilst I revisit JR149s (which really are great little speakers). Rest of the system: Thorens TD-124/II (Swissonor platters, Schopper bearing, Stereo Lab plinth), SME 3009, either a Pickering XV15 or an AT 33PTG cart, Marantz DVD 4100, Sky Digibox, MacBook Pro via Nuforce UDAC and a Quad 34 / 303.
