U2: Oh go on then...
A couple of years ago, U2 moved their music publishing company to Holland to halve their taxes.
While avoiding tax himself, Bono continues to act the same sanctimonious berk he's been since the mid-80's, inciting anyone who'll listen to condemn Western politicians for not sending enough of their taxpayers' money to the poor and needy around the world. Hence, plenty of people in Ireland and beyond loathe the hypocritical twunt for forcing fellow Irish citizens, who don't make $100 million a year like his band does, to pick up the bill, not only for foreign aid, but for health, education, law and order, defence, and so on.
Add to that all their records since 1983, and that's two good reasons for me not listening to U2.
<end of rant>
Oasis: is my Definitely Maybe really worth £60?
