They're, I think Cherry finish so just a veneer and that all sounds about right with the wax sticks. I'd actually just refinish them with new overlaid veneer if I had them but the front baffle is curved at the sides (only) so that starts getting tricky without a vacuum bag. Will have to visit...

I've lent a friend a pair of speakers and they've had a wee bit of damage apparently. I'm not that fussed but he's wanting to get some scrapes and deep scratches at least improved and I was wondering if taking them to a furniture restorer would be the thing to do?

Ah user induced failure! I don't plan on doing this and it would take quite a hard knock looking at the hinges.......not as much as a normal oven granted but would have to be quite a whack. Maybe a few ham fisted users?

Mine seems fine but still young I guess. Seems an odd thing to fail.....mine is a drop down door like a standard oven, cheaper ones have them that open to the left. Do you know which ones are being pointed to for failure?

You have a Luxman integrated? Should be able to slot the MiniDSP in between pre-out and main-in? As above there's clear guidance on setups which is nice and I'm sure there are a few who have set this up on PFM. And of course it has 4 channels so second sub easy to add too

So does the app show the frequency response and allow you to adjust the sub to match? Bit of a pain not having high level inputs as that's a far easier way to integrate but I'm sure they've overcome this with the software.

I've got the large one of these and it's brilliant. The preheat on the oven is super quick and it has combination settings to cook/microwave and grill your food into submission all at once!! Important thing is it takes a full size pizza...
