What are you listening to right now #64

A fresh copy this week from Amazon this time. The first one had an unusal pressing bulge that shouldn't have escaped QC. It wouldn't have been the only one!

Lee Morgan – Search For The New Land. Blue Note – 5831994. LP, Remastered, 2024. Claiming top spot in my reissues of the year so far...

This is a great listen. Lots of Soul that I have never heard and fascinating picking out the sample, some are obvious, others less so. Good sound quality as well. The Harmless label do some good work.

Various – The Breaks (Original B Boy Street Funk & Block Party Classics)

What a coincidence - I've just been on a Bjork rabbithole of youtube stuff (I'm a huge fan of Sugarcubes, far more than her solo stuff). I had an incling there was an early 'acoustic' album, with a beige cover. But no idea of the name.. & it took me ages to find it. A jazz album?! I totally forgot. And someone only hours earlier has been listening to it on pfm.

Do you have this on vinyl, & is it a good recording like the Sugarcubes albums are?

Thanks, Capt
