I’m a very happy bunny t’day, whilst clearing out an old flight case I found my hd’s with 8yrs of live DJ mixes I recorded from when we organised the dance tents at the wickerman festival, I thought I had lost them years ago, from Darren Emerson/Utah Saints/Elite Force/Plump DJ’s/Hot Chip/Dave Clark/Meat Katie/Silicone Soul etc……….this is gonna keep me smiling & reminiscing for many weeks to come.

Excellent, absolute find. Enjoy !

Meam - The L

Going through the 12" singles, rooting out the 2nd hand ones that are too bad to bother with. Two goes on the RCM and if they still don't pass muster - bin. Basically feedback damaged rather than filthy uncleanable.

Kept:
Carly Simon - My new boyfriend
Bangles - Walk like an Egyptian (2 copies, yeah I like the song)
Darkstar - Gold
Nu Circles - What you need (tonight)
Goldfrapp - Fly me away
Laura Branigan - Self control
Kate Bush - Experiment IV
Les Calamités - Vélomoteur (a 3 generation favorite, here)
Taj - Everybody is somebody

Bin:
Toyah - Ieya
Barron Knights - Churchill rap
Blondie - Atomic

Enough for tonight, back to albums

Received 3 CD's today:
Just finished the beautiful debut album from Katherine Priddy, The Eternal Rocks Beneath
Now on to Jon Boden, Last Mile Home... first solo album of his I've really liked
Next will be the self titled album by Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn

Barron Knights - CD res downloads of their rerecorded classics (Are you laughing yet?) as well as "The sat-naff song"

Finally, I've got a recording of 'Birth control to ginger tom' - hidden in track #7
