Liked the single Daily Routine, think it was album of the day at some point this week on 6 Music, thought I would give it a go. Might be a grower, in a good way.

Sonny Rollins Quartet with Don Cherry live at Village gate. This 4 CD set releases all of the material a tiny edited proportion of which was officially released on Our Man in Jazz and unofficially on a French double LP “the alternative Rollins”. I don’t think the provenance of this release is entirely Kosher either but it contains some amazing music. Absolutely essential.
 
The Pioneers -- Greatest Hits. Their cover of "Papa Was a Rolling Stone" is a booty-shaking epic.
