What are you listening to right now # 43

Nah, picked it up from my local rekkid shop yesterday.
I've not played it back to back with the vinyl yet, but it's sounding a quite different on first listen. It's nice to have the few 12" versions I didn't already have though.
When I've finished this bit of photoshopping, I'll rip it, and have a look at it in audacity, as I've a suspicion it's been squashed a bit.
 
That's not what I wanted to hear tbh.

It's looks no more squashed than the Compass Point Sessions comp from a few years back, but sounds as if it's been EQ'd differently.
I'll see if I can find the vinyl rips I did of some of the 12"s, and compare them in a bit.
In fairness, it still sounds good; but you'd have to go some to screw up a recording that superb.

Hold Your Fire by Patto. Just discovered the breathtaking Olllie Halsall through listening to Kevin Ayers. It's great when stuff like that happens.
