The Go-Betweens/Spring Hill Fair (LP - 1984). There is a song on here called Part Company which makes me physically ache it is so beautiful.

Know it well, the band never got the recognition they so clearly deserved.

Sonny Rollins - Live at Ronnie Scotts 1974
on BBC4

Fab!

Jazz bagpipes in Sonny Rollins band - now I've heard it all - playing Swing Low!

Is: Frank Zappa - Jazz From Hell. A guilty pleasure given the (mainly) synclavier noodling.
Will be: Wagon Christ - Toomorrow. To cleanse the palate, so yo speak :)

An early start at a couple of markets. Have just finished listening to my purchases.

Kraftwerk-Trans Europe express
Marianne Faithfull- Dangerous Aquatances
Depeche Mode-Speak and spell
Midnight Oil- Powderworks
Led Zerplin- Swan song?
Little Louis-French Kiss 12"
D-Mob-We call it acieeed 12"

Also from the post office

LC-the durutti column

Time to put the news on.

Serge Gainsbourg - Histoire De Melody Nelson (alternate versions from the deeloooxe version).

Hood / Cold House. Tasty 10th anniversary issue on 2x45 vinyl. Sounds lovely.

That sounds interesting. I've never heard of Hood, will check it out.

Vainqueur: Elevations. I hope Type will release this on vinyl too, after the really excellent Porter Ricks release.
