no not at all - in my 50+ visits to India, and 20+ visits to the Buddhist countries in SE Asia, they can actually be some of the most intolerant almost right wing people I have come across. Intolerance is rife across India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

I don't know. But Wiki states she's a member of the sect formerly known as the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order (FWBO).
Can't blame Braverman on the FWBO, though. I learned to meditate at their centre in Manchester many years ago and it didn't do me any harm.
