Signs of the times

Stuart Hall opened a travel agency on Stockport Road, Manchester. It was called Stuart Hall International Travel. But used the initials on the sign. For a very short while.

IIRC there’s a shop in Oslo near the Rockefeller Music Hall called Shit.

Basically everyone there speaks English, so it’s not a translation issue. I think they must just quite like the name!

Just down the road from the Square & Compass, if I'm not mistaken.

Near where we live is one of the first Arndale Shopping Centres (malls, to our US friends) in the UK. It also housed a 'Buckingham Bingo' establishment. Both these were picked out in neon signs at night. For years, the signs were faulty and we were always amused to see that we could visit the 'Buckingham Bin' in the 'Arndale Ping Centre'.

We were kids, easily amused, but I still remember it.

It's a Dead Kennedy's song. Sticking it to The Man and the Biz.

Hardcore formulas are dogsh*t

Is this a state of mind
Or is it just another label?
