Not sure it would be this season, but for sure we have the making of a very good team. Still young and should only get better, hopefully.

Barcelona are apparently interested in manger Pottyface. Once he's gone Spurs will return to being sixth place or below no-hopers.

Come on Villa !

He is a lillywhite and has loyalty, unlike the blue scum who are 'all out' mercenaries.

You think there's loyalty in football? You think if Barca come calling Potch will say No? You think if Spurs start losing, Levy won't sack him without a thought? Bless.

Time will tell.
Losing is not a problem for Levy, it is not results that necessarily matter, profit is his main priority. Potch has not got enough experience for Barca yet anyway. Sure it could happen in the future and so could Chelsea not being seeped in racism.

I see that ManU are still relying on David Moyes's signings to win games, even after all the money that van Gaal and Mourinho have spent. ;)

"Kiss my a**e you piece of blue s**t", oh, er, erm I apologise I thought for a moment that you were Mr Mute who had come back to haunt me.

I always liked Fellaini and Mata imo they both have a place at UTD.

It was shrewd of Mourinho to sell the 'Special Juan' to United knowing they'd be reunited in the future. But your fondness for Fellaini? I don't get that, he's never played the United way.

The Far North seems to specialise in snide comments about United, he doesn't seem to support a team but delights in finding faults when he can. Nothing seems to offend him like ManU though, one of his most recent postings was even about Martial's divorce situation. Smacks of desperation.

You're absolutely correct in saying I'm not aligned with a particular team, but the benefit of that is that I'm not blinkered and I don't "hate" any other team, unlike some who post here;)

Since getting BT Sport and watching full games instead of just highlights, I've been amazed at the poor performances of grossly overpaid (in my estimation) players in the Premier League, but I'm not paying at the gate so maybe that doesn't matter to the clubs.

As for being against ManU, I certainly don't think they've played in a recognisable entertaining ManU style for a couple of years now, and my earlier comment was merely noting the irony of the 2 goals being scored by players signed by the "failed" David Moyes. And if Antony Martial had got in the papers like that while Fergie was in charge, there would have been immediate response from the club.

I think there is only a tiny number of contributors who actually 'hate' other clubs but turning the angst volume up leads to livelier debate. Animosity has always existed between certain clubs: United & City, Spurs & Arsenal, Chelsea & just about anybody. But hate is an absolute term and probably incorrect in this context.

By subscribing to BT Sport you are unwittingly contributing to the scenario you criticise. They, along with Sky, have lead to the Premier League being one of the most overpaid in the world. Let's face it, how can an individual truly be worth a quarter of a million quid a week? But if that's the market rate now, you can't blame them. Many will just relocate to China when their time here is over.

I am a ManU follower - not fan, I haven't been to a match for a long time - and see them now playing some good skilled football for the first time in a long time. But Fergie has moved on and the club has had to change. There's little point in harking back to what he would or wouldn't have allowed in his day. No doubt players were getting divorced then as welll but there were less click bait sites publicising salacious details of footballers private lives then.

Also there's no irony in Moyes signings scoring, it's a squad game after all. Any scorer could also have been signed by Ferguson, Van Gaal, Mourinho or come through the youth system, it makes no difference.

Southampton have put Liverpool in their place, which is cool. We have to deal with the Merseysiders in three weeks time. Shouldn't be a problem though.

Everybody knows The Rolling Stones were a better band than The Beatles, and Mick 'n Keef used to live within riffing distance of Stamford Bridge.

I like Fellaini as he is a useful squad member also he is an essential player against certain teams he has a good first touch can win the ball score goals and if he needs to come on late in a game when we are losing he can be a game changer with his height in the box he also defends well in the air so all in all a very useful squad member imo.

I presume you are just jealous because he has a full head of hair?

I see that Man City have been charged under anti-doping rules for failing to register the whereabouts of players several times as required for anti-doping tests.

A shameful club that will try every trick in the book to bend the rules.

He has certainly been a game changer for United, his stupid foul against Idrissa Gueye handed Everton a point for no reason at all. His needless back pass in the Community Shield allowed Vardy to score. He lost Robert Pereyra who set up Watford's second goal.

Perhaps you think he is a typical United central midfielder? I prefer the likes of Scholes, Ince, Keane, Whiteside, Robson, McIlroy, Moses and going back even further Crerand, Charlton, Colman & the incomparable Duncan Edwards. He doesn't fit in well in that list, does he? Of course, YMMV.

A full head of hair? I have one of those too but choose not to style/dye it to look like a member of a Sweet tribute band. :)

I seem to recall Bob repeatedly criticising Rio Ferdinand for missing one such test. I wonder how he feels about City having it as the club's standard practice?

So Payet apparently no longer wants to play for his club. Despite him signing a new contract not so long ago.
What happens...
OK, if you don't want to play you won't get paid.
or
Leave him rotting away in the reserves teams/subs bench until he's too old to be wanted by anyone else.
or
Sell him to china & rake in the bucks whilst you can.
I know this kinda stuff happens all the time but the attitude thing is that of a stroppy kid, not a 'professional'.

Clive the players you mentioned would be automatic first team choices except for Moses who imo was also a useful squad player I stated that Fellaini was imo a squad player who is useful to the overall team so I would keep him.
