1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Not sure but probably not much if any. I have cleaned my amps mains plug and fuse a few times over the years with duraglit and this appeared to be beneficial.

What you should do is move the equipment far enough from the socket in order to prevent loops, droops, or coils...

    No brainer really...

Why on Earth would I do that?*

If someone on a forum somewhere states that gravity doesn’t exist should I believe that too?

*I’ll caveat that screening (which is available at a very low cost) could conceivably make a difference - though if someone who has relevant credentials tells me otherwise, I’ll likely believe that’s not relevant either.

That's the problem. Belief doesn't mean people have tried and tested....

You experience gravity every day. How much experience do you have with power chords?

I experience them every day, though I prefer the sound of a full compliment of strings.

There you go you suggest screening may make a difference. Good enough for me. Good luck to you Mr Blue

My point is that “just accepting” something is not in my blood.

Indeed it is, but Physics relies on reason whereas power cable foo relies on superstition.

If you upgrade to the gold package I am more than happy to offer an olive oil rub at the finish.
