The Outer Hebrides are a great place to take a dog. We were there in April (Uists, Harris & Lewis) and our dog had great fun running about the empty beaches.

He does that. He rolled in that puddle just after the photo was taken so was properly manky when we got home.

We encountered deer on both his walks today - they're just about the only wild animal we meet that he doesn't chase.
