Reminds me of my old bedroom pictures of beautiful women, women on bikes or in cars those were the days......

For me, little egrets are quite magical

This is the great thing about photography capturing a moment in time that seemed so ordinary but when you look back it can seem extraordinary - and of course the memories....

My wife went to a boarding school in Cheltenham and she always mentions the freezing dorms with ice on the inside of the windows - must be a common thing for boarders in those days (maybe still so?)

Thank you. I was slightly caught out. I had +⅔ compensation set for birds in flight passing me, when I spotted the egret on a different flight path that meant the white bird was illuminated more than the camera was set for.
A little bit of work in raw, and it all came together. I wish they could give me an audible warning before they approach
