Just scanned a couple of films from the weekend, and I seem to have been in the mood to get some portraits. The portrait genie was sat on my shoulder. Nothing else explains why some days a two year old looks deep into the lens of your camera, and other days they wiggle about and won't sit still.

I also shot a roll of Provia which is off at the developers so fingers crossed there are some nice ones on there as well.

Some taken with a Mamiya C3 with an 80/2.8, and some with a Mamiya RZ67 with a 110/2.8. Square with the C3, rectangular, RZ67. All shots on HP5 @ 400 developed in LC29:

They are all in this set (with some others):

And here are two other shots from the weekend. Dan wanted to take some pictures so he had my DSLR. I decided to try and get his picture with the missus so we ended up shooting each other. I heard his shutter go whilst I was about to take his, so they were taken within a second of each other. You can see his finger is depressing the shutter.

Got back from a weekend in Edinburgh last night - got a load of film to develop.
Here's some digital colour to be getting on with.

The cows are very nice mr. Cat.

Good portraits above Cesare and Mental Pete, Tom is the man ?

Not sure about this one below. The scene is too busy and "ugly" to form a nice "Vukian" still life, and this air-con ? but there's a good picture somewhere.

Any advice for a re-take ?

Thanks for the compliment - but what are you trying to imply?

Not sure I understand what you are implying that I implied.

I liked Tom's portrait, and thought that "Tom is the man" is some kind of compliment implying coolness etc. The question mark is there because it's more of a hunch as there aren't enough portraits of Tom to assess that.

I apologize if something else was understood.
Language is a virus.
