Nottingham Analogue Dais vs. TW Acoustics Raven One?

Jonathan,

Care to provide comments on any discernible sonic improvements setting up via the Nott Analog supplied alignment disc and the using the Feickert protractor.
I've only ever used the notts disc on my spacedeck but
i am intrigued with the Feickert.

Nic.

What Dave said. I hate setting up arms and carts. It is just so quick and easy with this protractor - especially with the extra movement you get in the Dais arm-board. And it is a way cool thing. It's my equivalent of having a a garage full of power tools that get used once a year.

I still get the annoying arm levelling "well it was OK before I did the bolts up" and head-shell azimuth is simple yet always defeats me. That thing where you just twist the Notts arm, but the difference between twisting not quite hard enough to move at all and hard enough to go a couple of degrees past where you want to be. But at least the protractor cuts down some of the problems.

You can also reverse engineer the effective arm length for people who have picked up old arms for their Lenco/Garrard etc home build project.
