KiCAD: Velleman K4700 DC Offset Detection PCB - updated

Well the cap is already 100mfd. I will check the resistor though. However, I was not at all impressed by the pcb itself.

I don't have the circuit for the device you are using so can't comment on that, but in the case of the Velleman circuit the start up delay is ultimately controlled by the time taken for the psu to stabilise the output offset.

Testing my version of the Velleman circuit usually settles almost immediately when being tested in isolation as there is no DC voltage present.

Using this circuit on a single rail supply will probably take longer than a dual rail - this was certainly the case on a Sugden A28 for example.

Hi Graham,

Firstly I hope you are fully recovered from your illness, (post #56)

Any chance of an update especially on the mono version ?

I've tried sending a PM, but for some reason your PM box seems blocked.

Thanks in anticipation,
Graham

Sorry for the extensive delay - many things have happened in the last two years.

But I am looking to restart working on this PCB and an A&R A60 Power Amp Project, I have an idea that the mono version has a design fault....
