Feelin' nearly faded as my jeans
The Paragon one hasn't got bucket seats and PDK ones are much harder to sell.
If I was in the market for a ragtop, it would be more attractive to me - bucket seats are uncomfortable as hell if you don't have 29" hips.
Paragon are chancing their arm. [...] I posted it as an example of the mark-up.
They probably are but they're a business so I can't blame them. I would suggest though it's Paragon knowing their clientelle.
I seriously doubt that car will hand any new owner a big bill for years so people shouldn't be scared of buying the likes of Porsche privately.
You're probably right - the DFI engines are fairly bombproof. People had their chance at the auction and for whatever reason, they passed (the odds are stacked in your favour at auctions - you don't have a profit to make). Personally, I'd get a proper inspection but you can't have one of those at an auction.
