Did you keep the 23 because the 5010 didn’t bring that much improvement for the price if I may ask ?

It‘s quite a different animal, more „naimy“ probably. Deeper but leaner bass, much more details and so forth.

I missed the warmth & body of the 23…

I still have my Exposure 4 dual mono unregulated for the similar reasons.

I have Exposure 5010 amps and have previously owned a Supernait 2. If the SN3 is anything like the SN2, the Exposure amps will be vastly better.

Haven't heard the Rega, so can't comment.

The 5010 has a more "contemporary" sound than the 16 Monos - a bit more neutral, a bit more detailed, but just as musical. The 16 Monos have that distinctive warm - admittedly slightly coloured - but dynamic sound of Farlowe-era Exposure. The 5010 are less sensitive to speaker cables so you are not limited in cable choices (which is both a good and bad thing). Both are excellent and I could live with either. Right now, I am happy with the 5010s and don't really miss the 16 Monos.

Me too ... And it keep also the price down ...
