I think that, a bit unfairly, the linked vid reminds me of one by a mains cable manufacturer. In that vid a chap plugs in a standard mains cable to a socket and measures its impedance and then plugs in a much thicker one and ‘amazingly’ reveals it has a lower impedance - this is then held up as some sort of proof that mains cables make a difference!
